On Tuesday the 21^st of March, Year 3/4 went to the Assembly Hall to meet with French exchange students from Swavesey Village College. We participated in many activities such as: 

1. Playing French games like Dominoes  
2. Conversation alternating in French and English 
3. Drawing a French flag 
4. Reading books in French and English 
5. Asking in French for a Madeleine cake 

The best part was learning many new French words such as 'serpent' meaning snake and 's'il vous plaît' meaning please. Another exciting part of the day was making new French friends. It was an afternoon that we will never forget!
