On Tuesday 5 March, 6 Y6 boys and 6 Y6 girls went to a hockey tournament. I, as an individual, found it a little nerve-racking since it was my first school tournament, but I still had lots of fun and was very excited. The first match was the ‘worst’ because I was nervous and cold, but eventually, I got used to it. Thankfully, there was lots of teamwork, no teams were rude and not much fouling. The matches were 7 minutes long with people subbing on and off at half time, so everyone had a fair amount of play.

Overall, the 'B team' got into the 4th division and came 3rd. The 'A team' got into the 2nd division and came 3rd too. Even though we didn’t win, everyone was excited and we all had lots of fun.
