An Egyptian Adventure in Year 3 and 4!

'Amazing Egyptians, exciting Egyptians.... how they inspire us....'
Years 3 and 4 certainly entertained their audience in 'An Egyptian Adventure' this week, performing a matinée and evening performance.
We are thrilled and so proud of our wonderful actors who sang and danced their hearts out on stage, taking us back in time to Ancient Egypt, sharing their knowledge of traditional farming methods, the building of the pyramids, the gruesome mummification process and the trials and tribulations of Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon when searching for Tutankhamun's tomb.
The stage was vibrant with characters dressed in wonderful costumes whilst the audience giggled along with their jokes.
We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the children for their hard work and determination in making it a show to remember. One member of staff commented that it was 'one of the best shows yet!' We thought so too!
We hope you enjoy looking through our photo gallery and exploring the Valley of the Kings! Make sure you don't bump into Dr Seuss on the way!
Well done Year 3 and 4!
