Following a nationwide campaign over the last few years, which Swavesey has always fully supported, schools in the SCSSP received acknowledgement last week for their efforts with this wonderful trophy. 

Without any doubt, girls at Swavesey know that they have the right to access football as well as boys, should they wish to, at break times, lunchtimes and at clubs in school and the local community. All girls fully access 'football skills' during units of work in PE , alongside the boys, from Reception through to Year 6.

The boys fully embrace the fact that 'girls play football' too. Let's hope this initiative is as positive throughout the UK from now on!
