Reception trip to South Angle Farm
We had a fabulous day at South Angle Farm.
David, the farmer was an excellent host and showed us lots of animals that live on his farm. David shared lots of fabulous facts with us, including mammals are animals with fur and are warm-blooded. He talked to us about the food that each animal ate, as well as their names and how big they grow.
Throughout the day we were lucky to be able to hold and stroke a rabbit, guinea pig, a donkey, a chicken, a snake, a tortoise, a bearded dragon and even some children were brave enough to hold a tarantula!
We got to feed the lambs, alpacas and even gave bottles of milk to the kids (baby goats).
We saw 2 breeds of pigs, including some which David woke up from their morning nap as well as llamas, who were very shy.
The children were amazing on the coach journey too.
