Volcanic Eruptions!
Badgers class have been working on developing their teamwork skills this week. After an interesting Science lesson on learning about volcanoes and how they work, we decided to create our own volcano together in groups. The children worked brilliantly together in their groups, all taking on a role and lots of discussion/teamwork to create their volcanoes. We then made a mixture with washing up liquid, vinegar, water and food colouring and poured it into the crater. We added a mix of bicarbonate of soda and water and this caused a chemical reaction and the 'lava' to erupt! Swans and Kingfishers also observed the eruptions! Take a look at our photos in the gallery of our fabulous efforts!
