Year 6 PGL Residential 2023
On Monday 5th June, we excitedly set off for PGL 2023.
On the way, we stopped off at Ferry Meadows to play some sports, before jumping back into the coach to head towards Caythorpe, Lincolnshire.
When we arrived, we immediately ate our lunch and then we were thrown straight into exciting activities in our separate groups.
Over the next two days, we took part in lots of amazing activities, such as the giant swing, the zip wire, canoeing, climbing, capture the flag and the trapeze – they were all brilliant fun and involved teamwork to both encourage and keep each other safe by belaying.
We particularly enjoyed the delicious food at PGL, we got to eat so much. We had unlimited cereal and porridge in the morning and unlimited drinks and salad at lunch and dinner. We certainly needed to fill our bellies because the days were very long and exhausting, but very enjoyable.
The best bit, of course, was being able to share a dorm with our friends, it was great fun!
Overall, it was an amazing experience and we all came back with huge smiles on our faces.
