We talked about what 'Harvest' means and looked at the different words that can be spelt from the word 'harvest' linking to its theme.  The children engaged so well in all aspects covered, such as our fortune because we 'have' food to 'eat', how important it is for us to 'share' with those less fortunate and hoping that those who harvest can find 'rest' before the cycle of growing begins again.  They also sang beautifully our chosen song 'Cauliflowers fluffy' - a firm harvest favourite.
