About Us
Welcome to Swavesey Primary School
Welcome to Swavesey Primary School, and our school website where you will hopefully find all the information about us you need.
Swavesey Primary School serves a rural catchment area, including the villages of Swavesey and Lolworth. We have 314 primary children 'leaping into their learning' in 11 mixed aged classes, while our Early Years and Playwork centre (EY&P) encourages learning through play for up to 35 preschoolers. EY&P also provides wrap-around provision from 7.30am to 6pm through a breakfast and after school club. The former is open to children aged 3 to 11 years and the latter 4 to 11 years.
We are proud of our broad, challenging and practical curriculum delivered in our warm, stimulating and imaginative environment, which enable our children to enjoy their learning, as well as, develop the skills, attitudes and knowledge to become lifelong learners and achieve their full potential.
Partnership with our parents, throughout the stages of their children’s school life, and our local community in support of this journey, is really important to us, as we believe working together will ensure our children have the best foundation for their future.
Please use the tabs to the right to find out more about our school, from details about our underlying ethos (Values and Aims) to practical information to support our families (Parent information). Also, the tabs at the top of the page will give you access to more aspects of our school.
